Resources and Materials
JesusUnseen.cz online
Resources and Materials - Resources and Materials

You may have heard about the project JesusUnseen.cz.
This is an internet presentation about living Jesus whom you cannot see with your eyes, but can experience with your heart.
It is designed for young people (18-23 years of age) who still do not have a personal relationship with Jesus.
It will be a series of short videos that will bring living Jesus to the registered participant in a very contemporary way.
The videos will be presented in several lessons over several days.
There will be an option of interaction for the participant; short surveys, calls to action in each part, challenge to read a portion of Bible, "trial prayer", and at the end a call to invite Jesus into their life.

We are working hard on the project and want to ask you for your PRAYER SUPPORT especially in the following areas:

Extra dimension
Resources and Materials - Resources and Materials

The web pages _R o z m ě r   n a v í c_ (Extra Dimension) is meant to bring spiritual dimension of life closer to people who do not yet know Jesus or the Bible.

Thoughts on various topics are available there. They are divided into two directions.
"Vertical" –guides thoughts toward the spiritual realm through various modern-day parables.
"Horizontal" –includes some selected practical things for life, while sometimes seeping into the higher dimension...

Life Transformation Groups
Resources and Materials - Resources and Materials

Inspired by the book Organic Church, by Neil Cole we have prepared a tool for "Life Transformations groups." These are also sometimes called "LTGs", "čistička” (purifier), "Savo" (bleach) etc.

Life Transformation Groups consist of two to three people of the same sex who meet once a week for about one hour for mutual accountability in the areas of their spiritual development. The meeting may even take place long-distance (for example, via Skype).

Survey 2013
Resources and Materials - Resources and Materials

Here is a set of questions that we use when we have the opportunity to talk with people who are willing to give us their opinion. One printed survey is intended for each respondent.
If you do use this survey, we would be interested in your experience. Please write to us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
You can find some experiences and mostly subsequent reactions of our team in June 2013 here.

The typical or recommended start of the conversation might look like this:

Hello, we are from a non-profit organization, called I n s p i r a t i o n and we are conducting a short survey.
We are researching the spiritual life of Czech people, and we are very interested in your opinion.

It should not take more than 3-5 minutes ...

Questions on Baptism
Resources and Materials - Baptism in cells

We are very glad that within our cell movement we keep having new people coming to Jesus, accepting him into their lives as their Savior and Lord and then developing their daily life and experiencing liberating and healing changes.
We want to fulfill Jesus' Great Commission, which is making disciples for him (Matthew 28:18-20); that's why we see the topic of baptism very important.
Every movement in history, even every generation feels a need to clarifiy meaning of baptism and decides before the Lord how to do things practically. The cell movement also has come to this stage. We find it important, based on the Bible to state  principles and advice how to perform baptism. We want to remove uncertainty which always accompanies new things.

The following articles are at the first meant for mentors or guides of those who recently let Jesus into their lives as their Lord and Savior.

Instructions for the Baptized Ones
Resources and Materials - Baptism in cells

The term baptism is connected with various ideas and images in our country. That is why we feel it's important to explain how these things work according to the Bible and also practically. When we know what to expect and how things will go is good precondition for mutual understanding and peace.
In some cases we gave the baptized ones a short letter with the following practical instructions.

VIRUS L10:2b- Harvest Virus
Resources and Materials - As You Talk With Jesus

Virus is a tiny invisible living organism that multiplies and spreads, and then massively influences other living organisms.

Like a virus, we would like to see the spread of a prayer movement known as “the L10:2b Virus” or “Harvest Virus.”
It involves two people agreeing to pray briefly together daily according to Jesus’ command to his disciples recorded in the beginning of Luke 10. Before Jesus sent out his disciples to the villages and towns, among other things, he said: “Ask the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.” (L10:2b - “b” indicates that we are referring to the second half of the given verse).

Resources and Materials - As You Talk With Jesus

We started with virus L 10:2b...

The first several weeks passed away quite peacefully. We called each other briefly, in prayer we quoted some key sentences of Jesus and it was very good.

When we sometimes could not get in touch (work, meetings or other obstacles), we agreed on an approximate time of connection, when we are usually more free (e.g. 9 pm).

When it was not possible otherwise, we left a short prayer in the voice mail or we texted the prayer to each other, or wrote it via email.

Resources and Materials - As You Talk With Jesus

Have you read the previous articles about Virus L 10:2b? Do you still need to know something more so that you would start this prayer? In the following weeks, find somebody who will be your prayer partner. It can be a friend from your town or from the other end of the country (even from the other end of the world, if you can find an appropriate time and way of connection).

It will be a person of the same gender, with whom you will call each other briefly every day and pray: "Lord Jesus, you are the Lord of the harvest. please, send more workers onto your harvest."

Resources and Materials - As You Talk With Jesus

Some biblical quotations and inspirational themes you can pray through

Matthew 28:18-20

18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Lord Jesus, all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to you! (18). You are with us always, to the very end of the age (20)

Listening to Living Jesus
Resources and Materials - As You Talk With Jesus

The Lord Jesus was continuously preparing his disciples for the fact that from a certain date on, He won't be with them physically. Along with this message, which was very sad for the disciples and pretty unacceptable, he naturally assured them that they wouldn't be left alone:

From that time Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised up on the third day.(Matthew16:21)
I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. (John 14:18)
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. (John 14:26)
But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on his own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. (John 16:13)

The Lord Jesus is here right now – with you!

AND SURELY I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, to the very end of the age. (Matthew 28:20)

Different Christians listen to the silent voice of the present Christ (Holy Spirit) in different ways:

Resources and Materials - Discovery

(Discovery is also the name of a spaceship :-).)

The goal of this shared Bible study is for a group, which includes non-believers, to discover the living God/Jesus and important truths directly from the Bible.  (The goal is not that a more experienced person teach those less experienced.)  We strongly desire to see this resulting in each participant personally living with God, loving Him, and obeying Him.  Only obedience will transform a life, and then it will transform lives of other people around.

Resources and Materials - Discovery

This Map of Discovery builds on the article “Discovery- goals and Strategy”- read that first and then continue here.

This outline is meant for the series of Discovery with non-believers and with new believers.

WARM UP (15-20 minutes)

-  The warm up should definitely not exceed 15-20 minutes!

1) What is one thing you are thankful for this week?
- This question is to be answered in turn by each participant.
- Short answers will suffice- for example one word or a short sentence.
- You can begin with your own answer as an example.

2) What is causing you concern this week?
- (Alternatively: What problem are you solving this week? // What kind of needs do your loved ones/friends have?
- This question is to be asked of each participant in turn, but it could be that someone has had only good things in a given week- that is fine…
- Be prepared to share your own concerns.

3) How can we help one another with these concerns?
- (Alternatively: How can we as a group help with these?)
- Seek to ensure that each concern is addressed with an offer of help or other appropriate response.
- For some, it may be fitting to spontaneously respond with a short one-sentence prayer for the matter: “Jesus, please help Peter…”

Discipleship Half-Weekends - Goals and Content
Resources and Materials - Discipleship Half-Weekends

There are several principles and recommendations summarized, here, concluded on the basis of our experience. We would like to encourage multiplication of such weekends...

Goals of the disciple half-weekends

  • To inspire each other, to build up each other, to be formed into Jesus's image.
  • To support each other, give feedback, accountability.

Disciple half-weekends, other parameters
Resources and Materials - Discipleship Half-Weekends

Time proportions of the discipleship half-weekends

On the basis of our experience, we recommend a frequency of once in 6 weeks as average; which means 7 - 8 times in a school year.
One retreat takes only about 24 hours: beginning on Friday evening, ending on Saturday afternoon. (There is also an alternative of Saturday/Sunday). The idea of reproduction is such an important value for us that we recommend to keep the primary group for no more than two years. During the second year, you should be thinking of rearranging the group and inviting somebody else to join. In two years time, our own primary group of 5 changed into 3 similar groups based on the discipleship half-weekends.
